When the first pictures of the Citroën DS3 were released, many of us were left wondering what a convertible version would look like. Wonder no more. Dubbed the DS3c, the renderings show a sexy MINI-inspired drop top with a traditional canvas roof. While the images are pure speculation, it’s not hard to see the possibility of production since our spies have already caught a three-door DS3 undergoing testing.

As we have previously reported, the DS3 will be offered with two diesels and three petrol engines. The diesels have outputs of 90 bhp and 110 bhp, while the petrol units produce 95 bhp, 120 bhp and 150 bhp.

Look for the DS3 to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales beginning in March 2010.

Fiat has released new images and details about the 2010 Punto Evo. Essentially an "evolution of the Grande Punto", the car receives minor exterior updates in the form of new front and rear bumpers. More meaningful changes occur in the interior as the Evo is outfitted with an updated dash, improved seats, enlarged storage compartments and better instrumentation. The Punto Evo also features a new "Blue&Me-TomTom" infotainment system that combines telephone, navigation and information functions on a color touch-screen.

Although no specific engine options were released, Fiat stated the Evo will offer a wide variety of engines, including MultiAir petrol units and second generation Multijet diesels. The company says the MultiAir engines produce "more power (up to 10%) and torque (up to 15%), while consuming significantly less (up to 10%) and emitting less CO2 (up to 10%)" than conventional petrol engines of the same size. Fuel efficiency is further maximized by a standard stop/start system that automatically deactivates the engine when the car is stopped. The Punto Evo will also be available with a dual fuel methane engine, which produces 115 g/km of CO2, as well as a LPG engine that can travel up to 1,500 km in the extra-urban cycle. The Punto Evo will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, with sales beginning in late October.

It seems that in September Audi is going to release the new redesigned 2010 Q7 SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). The car will have three models released. One of them, the Q7 3.6 quattro will have V6 3.6 FSI engine providing 280 horsepower. People say that its price will be about $46,900. The new TDI quattro will have a 3.0 TDI clean diesel engine that will give out 225 horsepower. The price will be $50,900. Last, but not the least, Q7 4.2 quattro, will cost $61,000, and will feature a V8 4.2 FSI engine that will give out 350 horsepower. The new car model will have LED front and rear lighting and includes 3G MMI 3D navigation screen and SIRIUS traffic.
